Advice for a midgame DgCj
Post Body

This is my first time having any success with a Demigod or indeed any atheist. My 4 wins are all with melee chars. I've lost a few "winnable" blasters in extended, but they all had ways to regen mp, either god abilities or items.

So far I've succeeded by playing much more carefully than I usually do. With cautious tactics, Searing Ray and then Fulminant Prism took me through lair. Now I am mostly using Iron Shot, backed up by LRD and Bolt of Magma for crowds.

Basically I don't know how I will handle parts of the game with big mobs. Depths, Vault 5, Zot. Should I learn sublimation of blood? Maybe I can fight enemies a few at a time there too? I'm usually an OTabber -- my wins are Mi HO Gr DD -- but I'm hardly using o and tab this game which is maybe why I am not dead.

Also, I have this:

b - a 9 eveningstar of flaming

I took it off Urug and used all my enchant weapon scrolls on it. Never used it as I have a Staff of Conjuration.

Right now I am training defense (fighting dodging armor) as my current spells seem to kill everything just fine. High EV monsters that dodge iron shot tend to go down to LRD or Fulminant Prism.

Any advice? Branches to do next? Skills to train? (Swamp is done I assume Spider then Vaults.)
