This run feels like the dungeon is refusing to give me items:

-I found a bazaar portal on D:11. Plenty of good items for sale...but no money to buy them with yet.

-An incredible dearth of books. I learned every spell that could be remotely relevant to my character (and have plenty of spell levels left over). Having cleared Spider and being on Elf: 3, there have been a total of 6 books in this game (no book shops): Maledictions (my starting book), Clouds, Minor Magic, Tempests and two artifact books that hold no relevant spells (lightning bolt, conjure ball lightning, tornado, swiftness, iron shot, freezing cloud, statue form...).

-I would love to branch out into summoning but the only summoning spell I've found is Call Imp (which I use). I've nearly maxed out the power on Confuse and Tukima's dance, which have been the main way I kill things.

-A terrible shortage of scrolls of Remove Curse: I've been able to use Curse Item a grand total of six times this game. I couldn't even curse my gear if I wanted to. I picked Ashenzari figuring I could use the extra skill points early on, but the dungeon has made me regret that decision.

-No source of rPoison, other than an amulet of harm with *Slow that I acquired for (a 1600g scroll of acquirement...). I do not want to put on Harm - I cleared Spider without rPois.

This is my second game as a Spriggan Enchanter, so I'm still figuring things out:

1. How do I deal with dancing weapons? My go-to strategy has been spamming Imps, spamming Wand of Acid and generally avoiding them (I refuse to enter the Hall of Blades)

2. How do I kill Roxanne, if at all? I would love to check out her book.

3. There's a 0 steam dragon scales with *Corrode, rC , rN , Dex -4 for sale for 1500g. Is that worth buying?

4. I found a 10 demon trident "Eptefob" {flame, rElec Str 2 Dex 2}. It's pretty good (I used the rElec for fighting Nikola). Should I make it my primary weapon? My quickblade has been pretty good so far.

5. I fought Nikola by confusing him, and he stumbled into deep water and drowned. The game said "You hear a splash x6." Is there any way for me to get those items, or are they just lost forever?

6. How do I prepare for the endgame with a SpEn? How do I beat Orbs of Fire? My typical strategy has been "confuse everything in sight, stab things, run away if things go bad". I assume that won't be viable once OoFs start showing up.

7. How much fighting, dodging, shields, armour do I want?

8. Could evocations be a viable build? I certainly have a bunch of wands, but relying on consumables to kill things strikes me as less-than-viable.
