[3 pics attached per my split suggestions and thoughts] So, first and foremost, by no means, am I here to degrade debrand I've been using them for years. Second of all, I ordered this case along with the gloss skin BEFORE ANYONE GETS EXCITED BEING A KEYBOARD WARRIOR. I have a few things I want to say first and foremost, even though many people do say, there's a disclaimer on the website about the gloss skins there was no disclaimer anywhere. In fact, the only disclaimer is on the screenshot that I attached so without anybody going out of their way to look through Facebook, Reddit, etc. we would have no awareness about the situation. to be honest, I wasn't following debrand on Facebook or Reddit until yesterday. Which is when I found out about the issues with the glow skins and the ghost case.
So anyways, here's my experiments and solutions and suggestions so I found that essentially what just needs to happen is there needs to be some kind of separation between the case and the skin it doesn't need to be anything crazy to the point where it's pushing out on the back of the case it just needs to be a separation so I use some skinny strips of electrical tape that I cut up color obviously doesn't matter and it puts enough separation that you can see that I'm not getting watermarks on the gloss skin. The benefit to this is obviously being able to use the skin. You can't even see the tape because it's behind third of all, it doesn't even affect the magnet at all because the magnet is on the outside. so it won't affect MagSafe at all. It's not going to affect the wireless charging because your coil is centered inside of that magnet so the tape is not even overlapping the coil. I'm not saying this is a perfect solution. I'm just throwing it out there because I found it to help. I think the skin looks dope as hell and I just want to use it so I started experimenting if you put electrical tape on there and you still find a little bit of watermarking go back and put another lighter I ended up doing two layers. Also side note. my alignment skills on the skin are on point. The cam skin and the apple logo are flawless. I'll rock the case it feels great. the skin looks great. love it. Thank you Dbrand
