Has anyone else ever felt that the characters thought the 50s sucked and the 60s were great specifically because they were all kids in the 60s?

If that makes sense. Like, I know 50s romanticization in the 70s was actually pretty common but these characters should have been born in the late 50s and most don’t seem like they’d care for stereotypical 50s values. They also seem like they’d romanticize the 60s since these would have been their childhood years.
