I posted a thread earlier about what I should try now that I'm all kitted up. Some people said to go to the NW Airfield and mess with people, and as I've never tried banditry, I figured I'd give it a go.

I went to the top of the firestation tower and waited for about 10 minutes. Didn't see anybody, so I headed down the stairs. As I was going down, I fired my mosin by mistake (don't know how, just did). At the bottom of the stairs, next to the door is a guy with his back to me looking for where the shot came from. Oh boy, easy kill. Aimed, fired and... shit.

I took the shot from third person AND had my rifle zeroed to 200m. The bullet whizzed just over his head, he ran, I ran, and he shot me before I got up the stairs. I typed in the side chat "I'm not even mad, I deserved that. Good shot" and he replied "ty". Karma's a bitch, I guess. At least I have something to occupy my time again. Better get to kitting up again...

Any of you guys have embarassing DayZ "I can't believe I just did that" stories?
