This idea came up earlier in a different post.

Why not an r/DayZ group? Certainly someone out there possesses the maturity, and managerial skills to organize the 15-30-yr-olds who make up 87% of this subreddit (according to this survey by DrBigMoney)

I do not have the time or the know-how to manage a group big enough to include everyone, this post is just to let everyone know there is an opportunity for camaraderie and what-not. Maybe a monthly meetup or something.

Most importantly, if someone does do this please take care to keep it inclusive. I know it is easy for 18-year-olds (like myself) to look down on the younger playbase, but I think a reddit group should represent all of r/dayz not just the 23 yr-olds with microphones and a high-opinions of themself.

Maybe this group would just do events?

Anyways, i'm hopeful this happens be it now or after alpher release!

Edit: I believe such a group cannot be sustained for very long, smaller groups are better for that. If, however, someone wanted to organize events like a pantless raid through Cherno, that is the kind of thing that can happen infrequently and not require constant maintenence.
