If anyone is free on August 27 from 8 am to approximately 2 pm and would like to give back to the Dayton community, consider volunteering with The Foodbank at University of Dayton Welcome Stadium! They need help taking food from pallets and placing it in clients’ cars. Volunteers MUST wear masks and gloves, get temperature checked upon arrival, and should social distance as best as possible. Kids can volunteer, but they will need an adult with them. It’s outside and will be rain or shine, so you’ll have to be okay with that too. If you like to sign up, please do so here. Lots of people are needed, and they don’t have volunteers at The Foodbank warehouse right now as a COVID precaution, so this is a great chance to help give back.
