I have an old personal Blogger blog that I'm considering importing into DayOne.

I believe I can finagle the Blogger XML export file into a usable Markdown file for importing. But what about the images? I have all of the images locally thanks to a Blogger export on Google Takeout. But is there some way of uploading those to to DayOne and having them appear in their respective posts?

I'm thinking that maybe I could batch rewrite the image source links within the posts, but it would be a lot easier of DayOne somehow handled that for me. Nothing I've read online suggests that image import is possible, except of course for making new posts.

Does anyone have any experience trying this?

I haven't signed up for DayOne as I'm waiting to see if it would support these kind of transfers. I also have an old WordPress blog I'd like to switch over, but as far as I can tell they don't seem to have any plan to make that sort of transfer easily possible.
