Alright ladies I want the truth... Ive been with dawngate since the very begining and Your fan based deserves to know the truth as well! Riot as you all know has LoL and just recently they finally released their new Updated Summoners rift map design. I cant put it past me that this map design just happens to look A LOT like dawngates. Even some of the jungle creatures look the same. EA stated that the reason for the close is that DG didnt have the following that they expected. By that We all know they mean we didnt have LoL or DOTA2 numbers. Lets look at the facts here, 18 months of beta is not anywhere the amount of time that LoL was in beta. Not to mention when lol started it had less people than Dawngate did! There is absolutely no reason for this game to be shut down. UNLESS, Riot went to EA and told them they would buy the design and pay some of the employees to help design the new map for them. Not to mention they would give them a decent amount of money (probably a few billion) If they were to shut down the dawngate as competition. Hell for all i know it couldve been the other way around with EA going to Riot and telling them we will sell you our design's and ideas to make your game run smother and load faster and then Riot agreed and bought them out. EITHER WAY closing Dawngate right after lets see, a balance update, release of skins, and new character a week before with the promise of another one in the works, the week before the annoucement of dawngate closing. EA also stated that a few of the devs that worked on Dawngate were being put on other projects that cool and good on you guys but what about the rest... Oh im sure you have joined on the dev team with Riot now havent you? Besides the point! All we want as your fans and personally as one of the few that have put the time money and effort into supporting this game being a success. WE NEED TO HEAR IT FROM THE STAFF OF DAWNGATE! Tell us that there was no deal made and that you didnt close this project/ game that we all enjoy and spent so much time playing and enjoy, streaming, discussing, learning, and growing just for you to make a quick big sum of cash!
