Glitching in Resolve 18.1

Anybody else experiencing a very high amount of spinning ball (Mac loading/frozen symbol) since upgrading to 18.1? The company I work for upgraded our Blackmagic cloud and our resolve software to 18.1 yesterday. I had no problem with the project I was working on yesterday, but today everything seems to be not working properly for me. It seems random but fairly often even trying to click a clip or move the playhead I got the beachball and have to wait for 1-5 minutes to continue editing. It is very disruptive to the flow of editing.

P.S. Popped into After Effects to do some graphics for a project and everything worked perfectly there.
