I want to implement Goggins nickels and dimes routine into my weight training

Hi I would like to implement David Goggins "nickels and dimes" push up and pull routine into my weight training. Right now, I run an upper lower split. On my upper days I hit a bench, row, and ohp. Should I run nickels and dimes for 10 minutes and then add weight when that becomes easy? Or should I just put it on my leg day. My only concern of putting it on leg day would be that I hit chest and back the day before, I just don't want to get injured or strain.
