Respectable Attack speed Axe

Post Body

Hello fellow slayers, I recently got into using the axe and it is by far my 3rd least favorite weapon, 2nd least favorite being chain blades, & #1 all time least favorite are repeaters.

I am working on reforging my axe to acquire the axe reforge passive benefits and then I’m done using it until gauntlet forces me to.

I’m confident in my evasion skills against behemoths attacks but what I’ve noticed is the risk of sacrificing an attack mid combo to avoid being interrupted by any behemoth whilst wielding the axe. Evasion/timely Dodging are prioritized when wielding the axe to pull of consistent and clean 2-3 hit combos before parts break or the behemoth is staggered leading to a prolonged striking combo and eventually slaying the behemoth.

Big damage is cool but the attack speed with the axe is my #1 concern because I’ll get the big hits as the fight drags on(I like fun weapons).

Any attack speed axe builds worth noting and sharing within the dauntless community because I’m willing to try them all out to find my fighting style and balance with the axe.

I currently use catalyst/cunning/fire/pulse/rage/overpower/recycle cells in my radiant axe build.

Any thoughts on how I can improve the balance of attack speed/damage with the axe, thank y’all for the thoughts?
