What do I do?
Post Body

I (36/f) work from home and everyday I see this one guy walking his dog in the evenings.

He’s so handsome, exactly my type, but I’m terrified to talk to him. Call me a creep but my wimpy ass can only stare out the window at him.

I don’t know what to say to the guy. I’d feel strange just running out of my apartment at him and stopping him. I don’t have a pet to walk or a yard to attend to.

I have hobbies that are a tad out of the norm. Plus I’m a bit of a nerd. I’m worried he’ll look at me funny.

What can I do? What can I say to this guy? How can I approach him to even ask if he’s available? Help!

UPDATE- No I haven’t talked to him yet, lol but I’m FLOORED on how much this post has blown up. I’m sitting here wishing we were all sitting around, having drinks, coming up with our funny schemes, laughing about it, and all around positive reassurance and reinforcement you’ve delivered. I’m NOT a confident gal, but you guys have given me a HUGE boost. You guys are seriously the best and I’m happy to be a part of this crazy sub.

Here’s the plan: Go for the dog. Doggo is key. Worst that can happen, he’ll decline/be taken and I’ll have my closure. There’s plenty of fish in the sea. Hopefully I’ll have an update next week as I’m going out of town today.

Y’all rock my nerdy little socks!

This reminds me of a funny song. Hope you guys are fans of Ninja Sex Party ;) Courtship of the Mermaid Song
