Have you ever met someone you felt so compatible with interests wise, in terms of communication, and understanding but something just causes it to fall apart? What did you do to move on from it? I'm a very nerdy 31 year old guy and I really struggle to connect with people because I'm pretty introverted and have very specific interests. That said I also enjoy learning and experiencing new things thru other people. I have a lot of social anxiety that only is getting worse as I get older. I've chatted with other women since then, even met a few but I can't help the constant comparisons to this lost love. There is no chance of any sort of rekindling as the break up was pretty bad and sudden. It's been a few months and any sort of conversation we have is just constant hositlity. I know not to keep looking back, but how do you do that? How long has it taken you to recover from a relationship or love of some kind?
