I had a bad date tonight.

The guy was really sexually aggressive, very close to the line of assault but not quite. And I'm just over it. I have nothing suggestive in my pics nor my profile. Idk what is going on in my area that it just seems like guy after guy is just all about hooking up, despite me stating in profile that I'm not looking for that, despite reiterating that in person, despite trying to turn the advances off or at least slow them down. I get it, we should at least be attracted to each other. I'm not even like a super model, just a regular woman.

But I do know that I'm so shell shocked after tonight that even though this time was only two weeks on OLD, I can't ever go back. I don't know the answer but if any other women out there know of some other way to date or to meet people, or maybe my screening process is bad... please give advice.

I stay off these sites for months at a time before trying again for a few weeks and I always end up shutting it down for the same reason. Surely there are other divorced guys that aren't this way within an hour radius (and I live in the suburbs of a megalopolis!).

It doesn't seem to matter which sites I'm on. Paid, unpaid. I initiate messages or they do. I had no idea dating was like this because I'd never dated until the past 2 years. I'm really upset about this and trying to think long-term about what my life will be like for the next 50 years. It looks like more cats.
