We went on a couple regular dates then had a great time at an arms length multi-day adventure date. This week we went on another fun one and she introduced me to one of her friends. It's been slow to build but powerful feelings are forming for me. It's been a great buildup so far and I don't want to detract the chances of it continuing with too much pressure. I'm single no kids, she has a 3 year old with nearly full custody. I'm an uncle and understand how consuming child care can be along with juggling work and hobbies, so I'm fully aware how busy and complicated her life is. For me for example my natural norm would be an overnight weekend trip as a next level date (or solo normal activity), as no a brainer, I'm gone in the drop of a hat. But for her that's almost a no go for the life complexity.
For people dating with younger kid(s), what are some date ideas and what's a normal tempo look like? Are date suggestions that offer the option of the kid to join helpful or is it best to patiently work around that?
