Hi! I am a 40 year old female, and Im strongly leaning towards embracing this natural hair trend that I've been seeing recently. Backstory - i got my first gray hair around 26. At this point, without hair coloring, I'm probably at least 40% gray. I have some patches that are fully gray, and some areas where silver is just poking through, so its definitely not uniform in any sense, which makes the idea of growing it out seem even more difficult. Generally speaking, I don't look my age. I have great skin, thankfully and am often told I look 10 years younger - when my hair is kept up! But I am sick of the upkeep and paying for it.
My question - how do men feel about women who decide to stop dying their hair? Does it legitimately make us seem/appear older, does it give off the opinion that we don't care about our looks or our upkeep? Would you swipe on a woman with gray hair, in your age bracket?
Also, please don't come at me with - you shouldn't care about what people think, find someone who likes you for who you are, etc - this is a dating sub, physical attractions are important and first impressions are important.
Editing for a little additional info... I generally date my age or slightly older, and don't really consider men much younger than 35... so Im definitely wondering if the mid-30s men share the same opinions on this as the mid-40s (or older) men.
