First Solo Vacation…ever (Dating related)
Post Body

It dawned on me a few weeks back that I’ve never been “on vacation” in my life. I’ve traveled tons but there was always another reason. A fellow teacher texted me out of the blue and said “Jesus, you need to go on vacation.” So I booked a week at an all-inclusive in Punta Cana, DR. (June 30-July 7)

I don’t take it lightly that I can just do this (although no children helps) but I started to wonder: what do I do? I don’t drink a ton, so I’m kind of lost. I’m wired on “GO” a lot, so the idea of doing nothing/relaxing is hard for me.

Re: Dating I’m not going there to hookup but am not opposed to it either. I know people my age are out there who are in a similar situation. Is this really a thing that happens? Honestly, my concern is being the old guy flying solo.

Any insight/feedback would be appreciated.
