Persistence vs. Delusional
Post Body

I met someone I like and I want to pursue. Unfortunately, I lost my mind while messaging with her and she told me to get lost. I have not contacted her since that moment. That said, I still want to pursue her or, at least, get to know her better. So...

  1. What is an appropriate level of persistence?
  2. Am I delusional to think that after a short time getting to know each other that we would both benefit from communicating more? And that I owe it to her to share this perspective with her.
  3. Should I just take her advice literally and cut my losses, not contact her, and look elsewhere. I don't like this choice, but it is the most likely outcome.
