Met someone in January. Been dating and finally met her sister/BIL and later on her son whose 9. Seems all fine there. They booked a cruise. BIL's brother and wife is going. Here is where I or we come in. They said there is a balcony next to their suite still available and we should grab this.

Gf doesn't quiet know anything about my desire to cruise other than a "hey that sounds fun."

I've been dying to go on a few cruises to see some new areas. My accountant gave me a preliminary on my business before our Monday review. I have once again over funded my tax account and I can book this no questions asked for gf and her son to come with me.

My problem is relationships tend to fail and Feb 2025 is far away. Everything about the trip is something I'd want to do and so far everyone seems cool and reasonable.

Advice? Gf has no idea I can do this.

Update: we decided to book it after taking some time to think about it. We are happy. That's what matters. End of the day it's only money and cancel options exist.
