So I've been hanging out with a woman that I met on OLD for almost a month. 1st date was great, 2nd date she wanted me to meet her mother for dinner at her place, which I did and was kind of given the 3rd degree inquisition, which was strange, but she was embarrassed for how her mother treated me and apologized, which I accepted and moved on.

The latest situation has me really feeling like there is no path forward with her ...because of her mother.

We've gotten to the point where I stayed over at her apartment after a night out and we ended up having sex for the 1st time, which was great, but the next morning was a shitshow.

I get up early with the plan for us to get some breakfast, so I jump in the shower to start getting ready. When I finish, I can't find a towel, so I call out for a towel.... when the mother walks into the restroom yelling at me in Spanish. I'm just standing there naked in shock, when her daughter comes in with a towel apologizing and pushes her mother out.

I'm shocked, pissed, embarrassed....so done. I get dressed and I can hear them arguing in the other room. I basically text her right there and tell her I'm leaving and apologize for any trouble i caused (although i don't really feel like i needed to apologize, i did).

She calls me about an hour later and again apologizes for her mother and that she is just super protective, which I get, but this is too much I think. She's a grown woman. I'm really thinking of ending it.

What are your thoughts or what would you do in this situation?
