So I 48F have been single for about 2.5 years now. I tried the apps about 2 years ago and wasn't really ready to date yet. But back then I matched with a guy who I REALLY connected with over the phone. We texted and talked daily for a month before we could meet in person. I REALLY liked him. Perfect age, good career, very understanding and compassionate, attractive. Our first date was hiking our dogs together and then we hung at his place because it's literally next to the dog park. He tried to kiss me but I was too nervous and dodged it (so stupid of me!!) Then I had a lot of shit happen in my life with my job and living situation so we didn't ever have a 2nd date. But we have wicked chemistry together. About 6-7 months ago he connected with me via LinkedIn so I facebook friended him and we insta-followed each other. We would text here and there. He called me a few times but I didn't answer until recently. We have tentative plans to hang out this Sunday and I am so excited. I told him this time I will kiss him and he "love" reacted to that text so I think he likes me. My question is how do I take it slow with him? We have this 2 year history and he feels like an old friend already but I don't want to rush things especially the intimacy. TY!
