Soooo….
Made arrangements via an OLD app for a first date tonight at 5:00p. I arrived at the suggested bar at 4:55p. I text a simple “I’m here” and find a seat at the bar. I refrain from ordering as I feel it’s rude to start before your date arrives.
It’s now 5:17p. No response to my text. And they’re apparently a no show.
Questions…
How long would you have waited to order a drink?
How long would you have waited to flirt with other patrons?
How long would you have taken to mentally recognize / accept that you were being flaked on? (assuming this person was a genuine dater in the first place).
