Should I Still Take Her Out?
Post Body

Looking for advice on how to navigate this. I [40M] have been having increasing luck meeting women who are more and more compatible. Several weeks ago, I meet a 38yo woman who is interesting and fun. We planned a date (tapas and AX throwing) however, I got really sick (nearly hospitalized) and had to cancel/postpone. We’ve been texting and even seen each other once socially. I told her I would reschedule and we are looking at next Monday or Tuesday.

I have since found that I’m less interested in her, but I still want to take her out for that date we planned. Maybe I change my mind? Maybe she decides she’s not into me? I don’t want to not follow through, but I also don’t want to be misleading.

Open to any thoughts on this. I’m very social and live in a great place dating over 40 (with kids BTW).
