Australian Govt looking to work with OLD sites, confirming identities to make OLD safer.

I learnt over dinner, that the Australian Federal Govt are looking to make things a bit safer for those using OLD in Oz.
I haven't been paying much attention to media recently, so I thought I'd start checking here and social medians.
Has anyone else heard of this?
