Yeah, I know, it's pathetic. I'm 58F but have never been able to tell if a guy is into me or not. I was married for forever (divorced for years now), but even with the ex, we never really dated. We just spent tons of time together. I barely dated before him. And I've had precious few dates since him. So my skills just aren't there. I've always been shy and introverted. I can manage being platonically gregarious for a short amount of time, but I am completely inept at flirting. It's why OLD, as messed up as it is, works better for me. At least the guy has shown interest in an obvious way, by liking my profile or sending a message. IRL? I'm clueless.
I met a guy in the wild last night. He seemed like he was paying more attention to me than the other people in the room. How do I know if he was paying attention because he liked me, or because he like liked me? And how do I signal to him, next time I see him, that I like liked him, without being creepy? I never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable, objectified, violated, anything like that.
