Post Body

Considering the sub we're on...

Some people will only drink expensive coffee and will only go to high-end places, that they've carefully researched, to get it. They have a great coffee grinder and maker at home, with the nicest organic cream and beans. So they don't have to worry about always finding the best coffee, after all, they have great coffee at home. They've experienced fantastic coffee, and won't compromise that experience.

Others, perhaps, are happy to grab a coffee or just a hot drink from any hole-in-the-wall or local greasy spoon. They may occasionally get a great cup, but often it's good enough for when they just want a coffee. So what if the burger stand or Macdonalds' coffee is not brilliant? It hits the spot. And sometimes 'good enough' is better than no coffee at all. And if you drink it often enough, you may get used to it and start to love it a lot.

Perhaps for the first group, looking for a great coffee in Starbucks isn't the best coffee-seeking strategy for everyone. Even if that is where the majority of coffee is drunk, in their locale.

EDIT: LOL downvotes from people who don't understand metaphors... hahahahahahhah
