I have been trying the online dating scene for awhile now. Ive had some dates and 2 short relationships. Now i know i am not the most attractive guy out there. I am also semi-shy but have gotten better about it lately now that im 25. My biggest problem has been starting conversations and getting responses from anyone. Ive tried the whole "take pictures of yourself doing things that you like" and talking about things from their profiles.

Im really trying to find a honest relationship that would hopefully lead to marriage at some point. Ive never have been into having one night stands or anyrhing of the sort. I work a lot but i dont get the chance to go out after work since i dont have any friends. Most of the guys where i work are either too far away to meet up or are the "player" type. Not that its an excuse for not going out on my own. It's just awkward and makes me feel like sort of a creep just going places with just myself.

I just want to find someone but ive been trying without success. I know i am still young but ive got the other parts of my life where i want them.
