Why do girls match with you then not answer or unmatched?

I've been on and off dating apps for a while cause I've have little to no luck with them. But just recently I went on tinder cause why not and matched with like 3 people and almost all just unmatched instantly or never responded. I know how to talk to people and get a conversation going and ik there are other factors at play but man imma die alone lol
