How do I show a shy guy I’m interested in him? Without scaring him?
Post Body

Hi everyone,

Here is some context to the situation. I have a “friend” who has done some more flirty/questionable things that seem more than just friendly. This included getting up early and making me biscuits the morning I stayed at his place, (nothing happened, he invited me there to stay after a trip nearby him was finished. We talked for several hours and then went our separate ways since I had to return home) he has come to my place where he spent a total of 6 hours chatting with me about everything and anything. He frequently messages me. He even sent me a recipe for a cookie recipe (we both like to cook) and asked me to make them for him. I gave them to him, and he gave me a total of four hugs after, one of which he held and squeezed me in for a decent amount of time. The day of the next time he saw me, he sent me a text stating “today is a good day. Cookies and dog.” After he expressed liking them so much I invited him over to make the cookie recipe together and he happily accepted, so we will be doing that. I feel like all of these things point to him being interested. But he is a shy guy, and has confessed to not being very forward. He is more of the slowburn type. What can I do to show him in interested without scaring him? And maybe test the waters a bit?
