Is it weird that I don’t form connection from dates-only from FWBs?

I (M 31) have been on several dates with several wonderful women. I have not formed connections with any of them. Things escalated and eventually became intimate with a couple of them, but I didn’t feel a connection with any of them and I broke it off with them.

On the other hand, each of my king-term relationships started with a FWBs dynamic. I eventually wanted to marry/start a life with several of them and in two cases actually did. It hasn’t happened with all of my FWBs, only select ones.

In terms of my personal life, I’m fairly independent and definitely introverted. I am comfortable in my life and honestly do not need a partner-I enjoy a partner.

Does this describe anyone else? What should I do?
