Online/NSFW - What reaction should I expect to first face pics?
Post Body

Hey—so I (guy 30) met this girl on reddit (late 20s) and we really clicked in our conversations. Even tho we were talking about sfw issues and life/relationships/experiences originally, soon we were flirting in chat, even without having exchanged pics. And things got pretty steamy/sexy—but only with words.

Well last night it got really steamy again, with words..and she sent me a sfw pic of her face at the end, telling me she would have sent it earlier if I asked. She was really cute, and asked for me to send one to her.

I kind of panicked as I didnt expect to share pics, especially face pics, at this point. I searched around my ipad for a while awkwardly and finally send a random pic of myself. I dont think i look the best in it in hindsight but I thought it was a cool setting (travelling). At that point it was really late (2AM, same timezone). There was a pause and she didn’t say I was cute, she made a neutral remark saying i wouldnt seem like someone who would be interested in the kind of wild sexy stuff we had been talking about based on my pic, unless it was with someone with the same personality. Then she said if she doesnt respond it was bc she went to sleep and said she was gonna close her eyes.

Is this a sign she is not interested in me visually?

I thought i looked weird in the pic immediately after i sent it, in fact i might have been sick the week it was taken (got travelers stomach at the time but forgot). I prolly should have just used a more recent selfie, i look a lot better in them. I dont know why i didnt send those

Should I assume she is not interested now?

Any women: what signals do you give after a pic has been sent that you think theyre cute, or at least not ugly/repulsive??? Would you refrain from saying it either way? Or should i assume she doesnt like how i look based on her quick exit and her response? It was late too, 2am so that could have been a factor

(Not sure this belongs here—it is a stretch to call this dating, we are both not interested in a relationship and are just chatting as online friends who flirt and dirty chat and sometimes create scenarios together, and theres no expectation of meeting up in person, but despite that I really cherish it right now. I hope i did t fk it up lol)
