What does it really mean when you’ve never been in a relationship?
Post Body

I (23M) have never had a girlfriend or have even gone on a date. I’m in a particularly lonely point in my life where I live with my parents and work full time. Sometimes when I ask myself why I’ve never been in a relationship, I can only come up with negative reasons (I’m not attractive or I’m socially awkward, etc).

I’ve begun to lose hope and I feel that I will forever be single and living with my parents because I have no life partner. I don’t make enough money to move out on my own and I have relatively strict parents who pressure me not to go out late and stuff. Sometimes I feel as though I’m not really the “type” of person who can be in a relationship. This has been something I’ve struggled with for years.
