Hello Redditors,
I'm a 17 year old male, and I've had a crush on a girl I've been in school with since middle school.
She's a 18 female. I've been in class with her for 6 years in total, but I didn't get a crush on her until fairly recently.
We didn't talk much until about a year ago, and since then we talk almost on a daily basis about similair interests and several other things.
She has no idea I've got a crush on her, although yesterday, when we were talking, we came upon the topic of crushes, and she asked if I had a crush. I said yes, but I didn't have the guts to tell her it was her, I only said she knew the person.
After that she told me she has a crush on a guy from her new school, and myheart just sank.
We aren't going to the same school anymore, and I don't see her in person most of the times, we just talk over skype.
I've never had a girlfriend (or a real crush for that matter) and I'm way too scared to tell her my feelings, since I think that if she rejected me, our friendship would end due to awkwardness, and we wouldn't talk anymore.
What course of actionwould you guys suggest?
Let it go and move on, keeping our friendship, or should I admit my feelings with the risk of losing our good friendship?
