Ladies - when you first start dating a guy, do you prefer for them to ask you what you want to do as far as a date? Or do you prefer for them to come up with something on their own

(28M)Going on a second date with this girl, and I’m battling with the idea of coming up with an idea first and then running it by her to confirm shes cool with that OR asking her what she wants to do instead?
Some context: she is new to the country so she also probably doesn’t know her area very well or where to go which is also a factor when I am trying to decide the best approach.
