Do you think chivalry causes more problems?
Post Body

Just in a month I notice chivalry scenarios that cause more problems while dating.

1) My best guy friend picked up his date from her house and she walked to the car and walked back in. Two days later she explain that she doesn’t date guys that don’t open the door for her.

2) I was in the early dating stages talking to a girl and just recently I have a lot of medical bills to pay for my grandmother and I told her I can’t go out as much . She insisted that we go out and she picked the place. I told her that I’m grabbing one drink due to my grandmother medical bills. She got an app, 3 drinks and a dessert. I told the server separate checks and she got mad and said “chivalry is really dead”.

3) Another scenario of a couple I know is the man argues about his gf not knowing how to cook. She was in foster care most of her life and nobody taught her. He knows this but still believes that all woman should know how to cook. He broke up with her because of it.

Obviously this does not apply to everyone but it’s interesting to see how chivalry causes more problems in the dating world now a days. The expectations are insane.

What do you guys think? Any similar stories?
