What is the first thing you look for in a guy when dating?

I've recently broken up with my girlfriend of four and a half years and I'm looking for ideas for how to make my dating profile appear more desirable, when I decide I want to start looking again. I'd say I'm fairly good looking, have a good job and I like to think I'm a very genuine person. I just need some pointers on how I can make myself stand out a little more.
I'd like to gain all perspectives from this, i.e. anyone who dates men. All gender types welcome.
