Advice please: bf said he’s supportive of my goals, then he goes on say negative things about it.
Post Body

I (F22) told my boyfriend(m24) I wanted to join the military for 6 years. He told me he supports me, but then he went on telling me about PTDS and things like wars and such. I told him I’m already aware of those stuff. But he kept on telling me that I should really think about it again. I told him that it seems like he doesn’t support my decisions. It’s like he’s being passive aggressively bringing me down from something I want to do. But he tells me that he’s just saying it out of concern and that he’s worried. I’m not sure how to feel about this.

Side note: Last time I told him that I am motivated to workout. He proceeded to tell me that he supports me, but then said “I know you’re going to give up after a week though.” It’s like this with my other tasks that I tell I’m going to do or want to do. Any insights or advice?
