If you don’t think they’re interested in you
Post Body

They probably aren’t.

Spend time on yourself.

Learn a new routine. Live for your happiness, fulfill yourself first, leave unsupportive people behind without guilt.

Pursue your dreams. Chase the moon. Make other people look at you like you’re crazy, because to them, you are.

Prioritize the love that’s unconditional in your life, be it family, pets, music, art - lose yourself in it.

I think when life presents you with a situation like unrequited love - God, the synchronicity, or whatever you want to call that electric feeling hiding somewhere in your core - is getting ignored -

You need to find away to make that energy happy with your actions, that impulsivity to slack off and do a hobby instead of paperwork. That child inside you that you abuse and refuse to acknowledge. Be a big kid forever. Be an adult when it counts.

Now that idiot you forgot about years ago thinks you’re amazing.

Here’s the kicker, though.

You see it too, finally. You do good for other people, you give back to the world because you want to see them find their ‘electric impulse’

You know what it means to hurt for something better, and you’d do anything to make that ‘better’ happen for others. You genuinely pray for a better world, and actively work to make it.

You no longer need people to validate your existence.

The definition of amazing is ‘surprisingly great’ - surprising greatness.

It’s a shame they didn’t see it in you all along, but you can’t expect others to, if you don’t see it - breed it in yourself to begin with.

imho.
