I'm M, 33, average height, and moderately attractive (not top 10%, but probably top 30% for most women). I am self made and wealthy enough that I don't have to work, but I still choose work part time as a computer programmer. I have pretty nerdy interests and a somewhat reserved personality, but I have extensive acting and improv training so I can turn on the charm when I need to.
I'm looking for someone who I can build a genuine connection with who could eventually become a long term partner.
I'm hoping to get some idea of the best dating methods for someone like me during the pandemic. What apps or sites will have the best chances of yielding some good matches for someone like me? I'm considering Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, r4r, but I'm not really sure where to start and what to avoid. I'm also open to any other suggestions this forum may offer, but I am still trying to be cautious of the pandemic.
I know that online dating is not going to be easy, and that I am going to hate it, but I feel like I've already wasted so much time in the last year putting off trying to find someone that I could enjoy spending time with.
Any help and advice is appreciated.
