Growing up, I knew I didn’t like how heels looked on guys (and I’m aware that most straight guys get somewhat disgusted at the sight of it), but that didn’t stop me from wearing them whenever no one was around. What began as a taboo teenage fetish turned into an innocent secret hobby as I matured. This is something I’ve always brought up at some point while talking to a potential date, and though none of them ended up dating me, I remain friends with them. My few female friends (probably like 6 people) expressed a generally positive consensus (1 neutral, 3 impressed, 2 positively curious), but I always have to wonder if they’re kindly refraining from expressing any negative opinions.
Hoping to get your honest opinions. I’m also curious if the effect heels have on me depends on how attractive I look to begin with. Let’s just say I don’t turn any heads in public.
Aside from that, I do also have some reservations about allowing this hobby to be matched to my face in a photo, since if anyone redistributes it, I’ll have no control of it landing in the hands of people who might eventually have influence over my life, wouldn’t understand even if I explained in detail, and would be better off oblivious. Would it be safe to assume that anyone who bothers scrolling that far in my profile will not have that kind of ill intent?
Update: thanks everyone for your insight. My verdict is that I’m gonna pass on the pic, but have a blurb about it somewhere that people can read.
