So a bit of background first, were both 19 and went to the same high school. I had the biggest crush on her for a long time when we had classes together but I never said anything to her since I was shy and insecure. Now that I’ve gotten my self confidence back I really want to message her and ask her out. I told her a few months ago through message how I felt about her in high school and she said aww thank you, then I asked her if she had plans on Valentine’s Day and she said she was sorry but she did. I really want to ask her out but idk what to say in a message. I want to be as confident as possible but I don’t want to screw up the wording or phrasing and ruin my chances with her for good.
