I've been dating this girl for almost 2 years now and just recently I've been hit with a lot of jealousy very recently. I don't understand why? I love her so much and we're basically the same person and everything. We're in our freshman year of college and she's been starting to talk to acquaintances like I told her to because all of our friends went to expensive colleges right out the gate so we have both been friend deprived for a while. Now she had a friend in one class and they started to hangout after class (it's not even often) and I get paranoid now. I don't understand why because I know she won't do anything because her ex left her for another girl and I know she wouldn't do that to me because she knows how it feels. I also hate clingy and jealous people as my first girlfriend was like that and I can't stand it. How do y'all overcome this kind of thing because I should have no reason to lose my trust over her as she doesn't act differently around guys, she hasn't distanced herself, she hasn't changed at all, yet I still get this feeling.
