Ok so I asked this girl out about a month ago. We’re both seniors in high school. I did it over text, I texted her basically just saying how even though we didn’t really know each other that well, I thought she was really cute and asked her if she’d like to hang out sometime. She replied saying aw thanks and she was flattered but was kinda talking to someone. I just said sorry for bothering her and she said it’s ok you weren’t bothering me. Ever since then though, she’s been showing me more attention. She didn’t really view my stories or like my posts on Instagram until this. Like right after she let me down, she started liking my pics and viewing my stories. When we do see each other in the halls, she’ll look at me for a second then like turn her head somewhere else and look somewhere else until I’m away.

Why is she like this? Was she lying about talking to someone? Does she actually like me? What’s the deal? Thanks a ton if you reply and help me, means a lot. I just can’t really think of a reason why she’s suddenly interested in me after she shut me down. Ok thanks :)
