ive been seeing this guy for three weeks and we’ve officially labeled ourselves as exclusively dating but not “boyfriend-girlfriend” (under my request). he’s great and sweet and all but i have this fear that he’s going to turn out like my ex boyfriend.

he’s super attentive and is willing to make time for me and is always checking to make sure im having a good day but my ex bf used to do the same and he ended up love bombing me and then being abusive towards the middle end of our relationship.

there are things that i notice differently like for example this dude isn’t keen on having intimate relations early on and he doesn’t use the word “love” whereas my ex wld say everything within the first week and demand intimacy second weeks in.

my gut feeling says he’s different but I can’t help but wonder if im repeating the same pattern. does anyone have any experience on whether or not a man would commit? or if his interest will fade later on? thank you
