Why do guys say I deserve better?

Multiple guys in my life have told me (26F) they really like me and I am very good girl and I deserve better even when I tell them they are fine for me? (Majority of people have told me that I'm attractive, I'm highly educated, I'm funny, and have a good personality, I'm very nice to everyone, and have good manners). So, I'm not sure why they always tell me I deserve better?? It's always the "I'll miss you I really like you."
