I can’t seem to tell the difference. There’s a guy at work, I thought feelings were mutual but it is so hard to tell since he is very nice to everyone which is just making me wonder how to tell the difference?

Like today, some other coworkers were having a bad day so he decided to go to the bakery (since he was also having a bad day). Before he left he asked me if I wanted anything to which I said no because I don’t eat things like that. When he came back he came back with a bag of my favorite candy. I asked him if they sold this at the bakery too and he said no he stopped off at the gas station because he couldn’t not get me something. So it’s things like that where it makes me feel special but then he goes and treats everyone else the same so I guess I’m not special.
