Just saw a video and he basically explained that the way to find out if it was romantic is to confess your feelings and if they like you back it’s romantic! But if they reject you: you have to convince yourself all that time was just platonic

I’ve never related to something more. The guy I like, I thought he was into me. But when I told him off the bat id most likely fall for him he told me he wasn’t looking for anything significant. And ofc it hurt but now all those smiles. All those laughs. All of those conversations. I can’t play them as romantic. And I know they’re platonic but why do they still mean so much? I don’t know. All I know is I related to that quote a little too much and am lowkey suffering.
