I’m not dating him yet, but I feel like things are headed in that direction. I don’t really have friends or anyone I can talk about this so I am bringing it here.

Over the past few months, I’ve been getting closer to one of my coworkers. I have developed feelings for him and I am pretty sure it is mutual. I know you are probably thinking it’s a bad idea, but our work usually never overlaps, we don’t report to the same chain of command and neither one of us is a manager. But anyway, none of that is the point.

I am taking time off for the holidays and he is not. Before I signed off today I told him he can let me know if anything is needed while I am off and I told him I’d text him for Christmas. He responded with “yes, don’t hesitate to text me, I’m around” and with a smiley face with a big grin.

Obviously that means text him, but what is my plan?! I don’t want to come off too clingy or needy but also want to show I’m interested with something worthy to say. I have a tendency to be a little excessive at times, I need some help reining it in!
