I am 25 years old fairly fit (if that even matters) I’m reserved, introspective, introverted, lowkey a tiny bit of a nerd, my career is simple as I work at a luxury hotel. I am open to a different types of people, especially people who are different from me because there is always something to be learned from somebody who has a different culture and perspective from you. with that being said I want to say I’m also not the type to judge somebody based on their looks or their race or culture. for me it’s more a sense of curiosity and wonder that drives me to learn about people outside my own culture. I don’t really have much experience with dating outside my country. I know typically when it comes to east Asian culture specifically Japanese, things like career or reputation or money are typically what people try to go for (correct me if I’m wrong) and when it comes to customs or norms, people tend to be more reserved. They tend to be very subtle, although I heard they can also be very honest too. Japanese culture does practice politeness but it’s not necessarily kindness all the time, depending on the person. And once again, correct me if anything, I’m saying isn’t correct. As I said, before, I am highly open to dating outside of my race but I want to know how I might be perceived by eastern Asian women based on the things I described about myself. I’m African American, 6 feet tall, 145 pounds, muscular and slim, brown eyes, braided hair, golden earrings and glasses. I’m not, somebody who is very loud I’m more reserved. I’m more introverted, and when I say introspective I guess I would describe myself as a person who likes to think about various things somebody who is concerned about the what ifs or hypothetical scenarios or maybe a reflection upon the past or future… i’m somebody who is very curious about things outside of myself. it’s like I strive to understand people who are different from me so that I can understand myself even more. I would also say I’m very open-minded to different types of people as well I’m not quick to judge other people and would gladly invite another perspective. My values are honesty, emotional intelligence, communication, and authenticity. I also respect people who aren’t afraid to stray from the norm and live by their own standards. This is just to give a background on myself. I’m just looking for a different insight or an insiders perspective I’ve always wanted to know these sort of things .
